“Felix Draconis” chalk on concrete, Short North, Columbus Ohio. Happy to be back at the Short North Gallery Hop after missing the past couple months. I haven’t done a dragon in a while, and they’re such a fun, comforting go-to for me, so I just grabbed the brightest colors and enjoyed myself. This lounging pose felt very cat-like, so I focused on those feline traits – large ears, swishing tail, a glare of smugness and self-importance – to make him more friendly and less monstrous — though those claws could do some damage if you annoy him.
